Memorial day events as follows:
May 27th, Thursday
Flags will be placed at cemeteries in Stockholm, New Sweden, Westmanland, Jemptland, and Cross Lake.
May 29th, Saturday
Street flags will be placed in Stockholm.
May 30th, Sunday,
Memorial Services will be conducted at the following times and locations:
0800: Old Catholic Cemetery (Stockholm
0815: New Catholic Cemetery(Stockholm)
0830: Stockholm Cemetery
0900: New Sweden Cemetery
0930: Westmanland cemetery
1000: Jemptland cemetery
1030: Cross lake Cemetery
1300: Memorial Service at the Post Home to include “Post Everlasting” and wreath laying at the bridge.
Post Everlasting this year will Honor Percy Rossignol , Wyllard Johnson, and Basil Ferguson
Please Volunteer to help at the Memorial Day Services, we require color bearers , rifle escort, and
firing squad.
Legionaires willing to volunteer will meet at the Post home at 0730, Sun.,May 30th.
